Godzilla : Final Wars is movie number 28 in Toho's much loved Monster Series. In this installment Godzilla has been trapped in the ice at the south pole by the Earth Defense Force. A elite fighting team that has speical mutants just for the job. As a rash of monster attacks brake out it seems that the EDF might just be out of their depth, when low and behold aliens show up and start taking care of the rouge beastys. It would seem that never has there been a better time for man kind to move into a new age of history. But things start to unravail and thing may not be as peachy as we thought.
The fact that this is a Godzilla movie should let you know
from the get go that the acting will not be of Oscar win
proportions. But if you want to see that type of thing
I venture to say that this would not be the movie to choose.
With that out of the way this is a really fun movie. You get to see enough giant mosters to make any fan pee thier pants. Godzilla goes toe to toe with the best of them and comes out strong. The Japanese folks even get a little stab at us when Godzilla (japan) fights Zilla ( american Godzilla)
the clash is epic, gigantic, stupendious and only a few seconds long. Hey the american Godzilla was lame no matter how you look at it. True to it roots Godzilla Final Wars stands up as a good Godzilla movie.
This movies is a must see for the Godzilla fan out there, and an o.k. pick for those who are not completely against the whole Godzilla Idea.
